What does it all mean?
To make sure you are getting the services you need from us, a brief description of what each service covers:
- Bookkeeping - covers all the logging of your business' transactions. The end result of this will be a summary statement fit to prepare a set of financial statements from
- Accounts - a monthly set of accounts which can be used to track and control your business, for statutory reporting (submitting to Companies' House), or for use with financial institutions such as banks. Please note that if you select this service, you will need to provide us with a summary of transactions, be it from our own bookkeeping service, another bookkeeper or your own records. We will not be able to produce accounts without one of these.
- Payroll - Providing the input, control and calculation of the payroll needs for your business.
- Tax returns - We project how much tax you will pay at the end of the year. This will be done monthly, to allow you to plan and control.
- Partnership returns - These are the fees for the tax returns for up to 3 partners within this type of business set up.
- VAT returns - Calculation of the amount your business will need to pay to HMRC.
- Limited Company options - These cover the same area as those already mentioned but can cost more due to the time required to meet the necessary regulations.
- Volume of transactions - Simply the number of invoices, bankings or other transactions yours business may do in a month. The "mini" option is for those businesses that can easily fit all of their transactions in a month into a regular A4 envelope.
So, where's the small print?
There isn't any. All we ask is that for us to be able to provide you with the best value for money, you need to send us your paperwork regularly, every month. That's why our prices are fixed monthly plans.
For those clients who go two months or more without sending us paperwork, we are still happy to help you, however you will need to pay an overrun charge equivalent to 3 months' fees. It allows us to dedicate the time to your accounts and allows you to get on with making your business successful.
Please also note that we would love to help you part way through the financial year, and to do so requires us getting your account up to date. Depending on the amount of work required you may need to pay a supplementary charge.
